On December 3, 2020, in Austin, Texas, destiny quietly aligned our paths. From the very first moment there was an undeniable connection, effortless, natural, and deeply familiar, as if our souls recognized one another long before we spoke. What began as an instant spark gently unfolded into a profound love grounded in faith, strengthened by patience, and guided by a shared vision. Conversation by conversation, prayer by prayer, dream by dream, our bond deepened with intention and grace. On August 8th, 2026, we will gather in Dar es Salaam to begin our forever surrounded by family and friends. This destination wedding is more than a celebration. It is a homecoming of hearts, unity across generations, and love honored with intention and warmth. Ngorongoro Crater National Park, located in northern Tanzania, is home to the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera, spanning approximately 260 square kilometers. Formed millions of years ago, the crater is a geological marvel, hosting a diverse ecosystem with over 25,000 animals, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros). Managed by the&nbsp;<a href="https://ngorongorocraternationalpark.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority</a>, the park balances tourism with conservation, protecting its unique biodiversity and the Maasai communities living nearby.

A dormant volcano in northern Tanzania, Mount Kilimanjaro stands at 5,895 m (19,341 ft) and is the continent’s tallest mountain and is just a few hours from Dar-es-salaam. Often considered one of the most accessible big-mountain climbs, some 35,000 people attempt to reach its summit, Uhuru Peak, every year.
